On Monday 20th February Keeley and I will be going to Nepal for 18 days. We will be staying in Kathmandu for a few days, where I will have a meeting with the chairmen of Nepal Federation Netherlands and The Nepal Trust. After that, we will be heading for Haripur, a group of 9 small wards where we have involvement in 4 schools. We have been coming to Haripur since 2016 and by now, we have been accepted completely by the community.

We have intensive contacts with teachers, the local government, some parents and social workers. Ever since the first visit of 2vande52 (we need to be there at least 2 weeks out of 52) the kids of Haripur have stolen our hearts. Step by step we are trying to improve the standard of living and future opportunities of these children. Our original goals of improving hygiene and offering education are gradually changing to Community Development.
